The Talent Acquisition Partner will work closely with hiring managers and executive team to recruit, brand, source, screen, assess, select, and onboard of Life Science professionals and engineers. The Recruiter will work to identify and fill job openings, interview candidates, and keep records of applications in the ATS system. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Recruitment of engineers, application developers, technical professionals, sales, marketing, and field staff in the manufacturing and Life Science industry.
  • High quality Talent Acquisition utilizing the most efficient and effective sourcing and selection techniques.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled.
  • Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
  • Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communication.
  • Connects qualified candidates with hiring managers; schedules interviews and debriefs.
  • Full cycle recruiter including recruitment advertising, branding, social media, professional networking, college relations, etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring the new hire recruiting and onboarding process is completed (standardized interviewing, assessments, background checks, drug testing, etc.)
  • Responsible for community partnerships (College/University, Scientific Community) to strengthen workforce technical competency and build recruitment pipelines.
  • Maintain ATS system with the most current and accurate requisition, candidate, and hiring statuses.
  • Assist in optimization of recruiting process and ATS workflows.
  • Assist with development, administration, and execution of the affirmative action program.
  • Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
  • Provides analysis to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates.
  • Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the industry community and marketplace.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough understanding of engineering, technical roles, and technical skills.
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited nonprofit university in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Management or related field.
  • Will consider education in the Life Sciences or Engineering: Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or industry related discipline.
  • Five (5) years of experience recruiting and talent pipeline management preferred 
  • Experience recruiting technical professionals, engineers, sales, marketing, and manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience with recruitment branding, social media, and marketing preferred.

  • Anticipated annual salary range $85,000 - $115,000.
