As our firm evolves and grows, we are seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to assist in carrying out daily recruiting efforts. This position is full-time and is an important part of our human resources team.

Under general supervision, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for maintaining candidate records and supporting the logistics of the candidate experience in addition to supporting Abdo's employee onboarding experience.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Support the recruiting process which includes updating job postings, scheduling interviews, filing candidate documents, initiating candidate assessment, requesting references, and running background checks.
  • Assist in coordination of recruiting events through planning, scheduling, and/or registrations. Recruiting events include career fairs, accounting club presentations, networking events, Abdo's summer program to recruit interns, and scheduling interviews.
  • Utilize applicant tracking system to track status and communicate with candidates.
  • Support employee orientation and onboarding processes through sending out new hire forms, communicating with new hires, and scheduling orientation/onboarding meetings and trainings.
  • Screen applicants for assigned job openings through reviewing resumes, conducting Zoom video calls, and summarizing conversations with candidates.
  • Support the employee experience through HR initiatives.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Ideal Talent Acquisition Coordinator candidate has:
  • Associate's degree in human resources or other business-related field, or equivalent in related work experience.
  • 1+ years' of experience in a professional or business-related setting preferred.

Abdo Flexible Workplace:
Abdo approaches the hybrid work environment through flexible workplace options of working mostly from home or working mostly from the office. We want our people to work where they work best! While the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is eligible for either of these flexible work options, there are times where the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be required to work physically from our Minnesota office locations for various recruiting and HR needs. For this reason, candidates eligible for this job must live within 75 miles of one of our Minnesota offices.
