The Tableau Developer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Tableau dashboards that satisfy application requirements and support business growth. This role will serve as the in-house specialist in transforming data into valuable insights and driving business results. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with key stakeholders, gathering requirements, and creating effective Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and analytic dashboards.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop interactive and user-friendly dashboards using Tableau Desktop.
- Create reports, charts, and graphs that effectively communicate insights and trends.
- Implement best practices for data visualization to ensure clarity and accessibility.
- Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to gather and understand data visualization requirements and translate business requirements into technical specifications for Tableau development.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in Tableau solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau usage and best practices.
- Perform other projects and tasks, as assigned.
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years' experience as a Tableau Developer, business analyst, data analyst, or similar role.
- 1+ Consumer finance experience.
- Extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau-driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases, and normalization.
- Capability to handle numerous priorities and effectively meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- 1+ year experience in consumer finance and/or auto finance industries.
- Tableau Desktop or Tableau Server Certification.
- Broad practical experience across the data and reporting spectrum.
- Proficiency in the use of query and reporting analysis tools.
- Competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.).
