Job Description
This is a Dual Rate Position between Table Games Supervisor, and Pit Manager.
SUMMARY:
Supervise and monitor Table Games dealers, as referenced in the Table Games department organizational chart, during the operation of those games. Administer and oversee the operations of an assigned area in compliance with casino regulations and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project a friendly attitude towards our guests.
2. Assure adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
3. Protect games according to the casino rules and state gaming regulations.
4. Maintain the spirit of teamwork and cooperation with all dealers.
5. Insure that the games have bank rolls appropriate to game limit and play.
6. Regularly examine the dice, cards, and equipment and replace when worn, in doubt or on a regular basis.
7. Observe dealers performances and when necessary take appropriate action.
8. Insure that any and all information is passed to the appropriate supervisor.
9. Settle disputes promptly and cordially, referring to the Shift Manager, those that are difficult.
10. Maintain all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
11. Ensure compliance with the $500 loss limit in accordance with Missouri Gaming regulations
12. Maintain proper department uniform, appearance and grooming standards
13. Any reasonable request by your immediate Supervisor or any Manager
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Must be at least 21 years of age.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have gaming knowledge and supervising of all Table Games. Must have knowledge of casino rules, internal controls, strong organizational, communication and supervisory skills. Excellent customer service and employee skills are essential. Must adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to obtain and Maintain a Missouri Gaming Commission License
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
