Job Scope:
The Habitat Company is seeking a self-motivated Systems Support Specialist Intern to provide support to our internal teams on a wide range of software and hardware solutions. This position plays a key role in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving helpdesk questions and issues, providing education to end users on functions and features while working with them, and properly escalating potential problems as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and maintain network users/permissions in Microsoft Entra and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Provide PC support with a variety of Windows operating systems, and mobile support with iOS and Android.
Install and configure PC's and computer network equipment.
Maintain network connectivity of local and remote computer workstations.
Assist with maintenance of hardware, applications, services, and settings.
Assist with the implementation and management of disaster recovery and back-up solutions.
Monitor network and security suites to ensure optimal performance.
Test release of products to analyze user impact and ensure compatibility.
Create and update technical support documentation for systems and applications.
Other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications:
Experience using Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Active Directory required.
Experience with security software a plus (Symantec, Mimecast, Microsoft).
Self-motivated and customer service focused.
