Job description

Provides functional support to users of the LCS HRIS System. Collaborates with IT staff on related issues. This position reports to the IT Systems Manager and works closely with HRIS System end users and other IT staff.

The Role:

  • Provides end user support to users of HRIS system specially around Absence Management, Benefits, Security, Recruiting and other HR functions. 
  • Utilizes a time/resolution tracking system to document support time and resolution of issues.
  • Analyzes the support needed by the users, works with the end users to resolve and if needed escalates to a senior team member if further troubleshooting is needed.
  • Works with other technical support team members when needed to resolve complex issues.
  • Understand and provide best practices to the end users to ensure efficient use of the systems.
  • Responsible for basic system configuration for new functionality or user needs
  • Assists with updating and maintaining HRIS System manuals and end user documentation used for training.
  • Prepares program specifications and participates in the design, development and testing of the systems.
  • Monitoring of data integrations in and out of the systems.
  • Assist in loading data into the systems.
  • Coordinates installation of new functionality added to system with end users.
  • Tests system configuration to validate functionality, identify possible areas for improvement. 
  • Works with vendors to resolve basic issues
  • Assists in projects as needed 
  • Assists with implementation of communities onto the HRIS and Payroll System.
  • Reviews and validates design documents, working with users to resolve questions.
  • Works closely with the HR & Payroll System support team to resolve issues and recommend enhancements.

 

Experience:

  • Oracle HCM Cloud experience preferred but not required.
  • HR/Absence Management/Benefit/Recruiting experience preferred.
  • Two year degree in accounting/finance, human resources, information systems, or a related field and minimum two years of related experience. 
  • Related experience may substitute for a degree on a year for year basis.

 

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Strong organizational, presentation and customer service skills required.
  • Ability to read and understand technical design documents.
  • Requires excellent computer skills 
  • Effective problem solving, analytical and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to take initiatives in tasks showing good judgment in routine decisions.
  • Ability to maintain a professional manner in a fast paced environment.

Travel Frequency: 0-10%

Job Level: B

Estimated Salary Range: $59,000 - $70,000

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
