MUST:
Active DoD Secret and must be eligible or have a DoD Top Secret clearance
Experienced Systems Solutions Engineer/Architect
10+ years of experience of systems engineering experience
8+ years experience with architecture, solution design and systems design work
Experience managing, maintaining and improving current systems that are in place
Strong Windows based experience
Strong Virtualization and migration experience
Heavy VMware based experience
Experience with VMware ESXi 5.x or ESXi 6.x management and administration
Experience with VDI design and operation
Experience supporting and overseeing a large data center environment for a client
Disaster recovery systems design and implementation
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to speak with Senior Leadership in a consultant capacity
Detail oriented and highly organized
Analytical mind and critical thinker
Current Certifications VCP, VCAP or VDX certification
Current MCSE, CCNA, or other high level computing certification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
DUTIES:
Will act as a subject matter expert and analyze users' requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications, analyze system requirements, and conduct infrastructure design and development activities
Assist with system development and implementation planning through the assessment of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
Will also provide system improvement recommendations including opportunities for system consolidation
Provide technical support for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations and develop system architecture and system design documentation
Interact with the client and team members regarding systems engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts
Maintain responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the systems engineering area of responsibility and communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives
