As a Performive Level 2 Systems Engineer you will be a member of the elite Systems Operations team and will work with a talented global network of IT professionals. The Systems Operations team plays a crucial role in managing, supporting, managing, securing, and optimizing cutting-edge delivering world-class IAAS/PAAS/SAAS solutions, cloud infrastructure, and virtual servers. You will help ensure the seamless operation of our hosted virtual servers, deliver top-tier enterprise support to our valued clients and gain valuable hands-on experience in a variety of technologies and platforms, including VMware, Veeam Data Protection, Linux, Ubuntu, Windows Server, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Responsibilities:
- Provide second-level Engineering Support via inbound and escalated tickets for virtual servers, cloud infrastructure, data protection solutions, and hosting-related services.
- Monitor and maintain virtual server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Adhere to SLA, KPI, and Incident Management standards.
- Perform routine OS maintenance, updates, and patch management.
- Provide feedback and coaching to Level 1 Support team members.
- Maintain documentation of technical processes, procedures, and customer configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation, responding to incidents and issues as needed.
- Assist in training and technical guidance when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or at least 4 years of professional experience in system administration or support of a production virtualized environment, IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS solution.
- Knowledge of core Internet protocols and services: DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, IP, NTP, TCP, UDP, SMTP, SSH, SSL, syslog.
- Server-level management and security experience with Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS, and/or Windows Server operating systems.
- Strong engineering and problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Experience managing web application vulnerability and performance.
- Backup/Recovery (VMWare, Veeam, R1Soft)
- System instrumentation tools (vmstat; top; atop; strace; tcpdump; Wireshark)
- MySQL Administration.
- Apache Administration.
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
