Job Description
The Building People are seeking a qualified Systems Analyst to support a growing portfolio of federal government, local government, non-profit, and commercial customers – all while operating remotely.
- The Systems Analyst will provide direct consulting services in assisting with the implementation of technical solutions.
- Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish functional and technical requirements, troubleshoot issues, provide suggestions and ideas to improve the solution.
- Lead sessions with the stakeholders demonstrating the functions of the application and collecting desired configurations for the applications.
- Translate highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements to communicate with internal and external clients.
- Collect data from stakeholders and load data into the application.
- Configure the Out-of-The-Box solution to meet client requirements.
- Create simple reports for client needs.
- Perform testing of implemented technical solutions, collect/document results, evaluate and act on feedback.
- Work on deliverables including requirements capturing, training guides, design documents and training videos.
- Deliver online training as needed, develop client presentations, lead implementations.
Required Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
- Ability to interpret documented requirements and communicate with technical teams.
- Ability to work with stakeholders, developers, testers, and technical staff.
- Experience documenting, testing, training, and implementing applications.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Clear communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate independently.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) experience preferred, such as Archibus, TRIRIGA, Nuvolo, ServiceNow WSD, Maximo, FMSystems.
- Use of tools such as Confluence, JIRA a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL scripts a plus.

- Ability to meet Federal & DoD Gov’t security background checks, HSPD-12, Fingerprinting, plus agency-specific screening.
- Ability to operate within a NIST 800-171 compliant security environment internally and able to support all client-required cyber security data and operational processes. Value and protect company, colleague, and customer data.
- 2+ years successfully working from home or a remote location, with minimal supervision. Environment must provide adequate workspace and high-speed internet connectivity.
