Job Description
Pay Range: Starting at $70,000 annually
Role:
This position is responsible for the daily administration of the network infrastructure, data centers, servers, and communications systems to ensure user satisfaction is maintained, and that the long-term business goals of the Credit Union are met. Duties of the position may include but are not limited to research, analysis, testing, implementing, monitoring, updating/upgrading, installing, troubleshooting, planning, and project management. Performs daily tasks in a secure and compliant manner.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Provides primary support of company's network, data centers, servers, and communications;
which includes planning, implementing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting network/
systems hardware/software. Interfaces with vendors as needed to ensure appropriate service
levels are maintained. Researches, implements, and documents corrective actions to remediate security vulnerabilities across the enterprise.
Coordinates with other staff to respond to team member requests and solve hardware, software, network, and telecommunications problems.
Serves as a key member or assists with projects that further the long-term goals of the credit union.
Writes and develops procedures, end-user guides, and other documentation to provide efficiencies and meet team needs. Maintains applicable CMDB inventory assignments.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
  1. Ensures that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained. Applies revisions to system firmware and software. Works with vendors to assist support activities.
  2. Ensures prompt response to and recovery from network and system related production interruptions across network infrastructure, hardware platforms, and associated technologies.
  3. Meets Credit Union's standards for response to team member requests for assistance with hardware, software, security, or system performance improvement.
  4. Meets Credit Union's standards for resolution, troubleshooting and assisting when hardware or software issues occur.
  5. Meets deadlines for completion of assigned projects and provides useful input with respect to project success and completion.
  6. Complies with all applicable rules, regulations and policies, including but not limited to BSA, OFAC and Physical Security.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Three to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: (1) A two-year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Other Skills:
1.Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise hardware and software, virtualization, networking, server administration, client/server architecture, and telephony including contact center systems.
2.Support Microsoft network administration duties, including Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and DNS.
3.VMware, Azure, Intune, Cisco, and/or Microsoft certifications desired.
4.Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with other IT professionals as well as non-technical users.
5.Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6.Ability to work and travel independently and use general office equipment
7.ITIL v3 certification desired.
8.Strong oral and written communication skills
9.Normally expected to work between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. but may be required to work nights and/or weekends.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift computer and other equipment,
Must be able to crawl under desks or other furniture to install / inspect equipment or wiring.
