Lucayan Technology LLC is hiring a Systems Administartor to support Koa Lani JV LLC to provide onsite Cybersecurity, Systems Administration, Network Administration Support for the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) operations support contract.
The Systems Administartor will provide Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4)I System Administration services, including authentication, messaging, application, collaboration, data storage, file/print, anti-virus, Windows update, and back-up and recovery services running on PMRF owned servers and equipment. Contractor shall provide secure configurations include all pertinent patches and fixes by routinely reviewing DoD Patch Repository, contractor sites, bulletins, and accelerated implementation notifications and proactively updating systems with fixes, patches, definitions, and service packs. All patches and fixes shall be installed within 5 working days of DoD release as a guideline, but implemented IAW PMFR government specified timelines for special instances.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and servers.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Set up and maintain security policies and procedures.
- Perform regular system backups and data recovery tasks.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to implement IT projects and initiatives.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and server administration.
- Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

- Shall have at least ten (10) years’ hands-on experience managing a complex virtualized server environment with a mixture of Windows and Unix-based machines.
- Shall possess a high degree of expertise in the following technologies: Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Windows Desktop (e.g. Windows 10), MS SQL, MS CRM, MS SCCM, Dell Compellent & EMC-based SANs, Dell Tape Libraries, VMWare, various Unix- variants (e.g. Solaris, Linux), TCP/IP, UDP, MPLS, IPv4, Ipv6
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Current Microsoft System Administrator certificate (example: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (Core), Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Administrator Associate (Core and Productivity 365 Roles))
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.
