Early Morning Security Officer/ Armed or Unarmed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Stable and consistent work history
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must successfully pass a drug test.
• Must have a driver’s license
• Must have a PERC card and 20 hour training certificate
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must have active listening skills
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Must have a personal cell phone with the ability to text/online access
• Must be computer literate
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verification's, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable

OFFICER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

***Must be available to work 345am-4am start time***

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling the property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting/denying entry.
• Checking Patron’s bags upon entering and exiting the premises and checking patrons receipts to their exiting purchases.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; reporting trespassers
• Controls vehicle entry by checking licenses/ids of drivers and directing drivers.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors (or willing to learn)
• Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
• Attention to detail
• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to work in all types of whether conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
