Thunderbolt Solutions is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer (Integration and Test) to support the Program in the Shipyard.

As a Thunderbolt Solutions team member, your role will focus on performing a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are concerned with hardware/software integration, failure analysis, test and verification of electrical components on asset in a Shipyard. Specific responsibilities include:
Work with the customer to realize capabilities from concept through to implementation
Perform integration activities including analysis, design, prototyping, integration testing, and documentation.
Perform system Integration & Test, verification, validation and Software .
Perform trade studies, analysis, and documentation to supplement the development of Engineering Change Proposals.
Support technical lead in preparation for and conduct of technical interchange meetings (TIMs) to discuss engineering/technical issues
We want YOU on our team if you have:
Minimum of twelve (12) years demonstrated experience with System and Subsystem Requirements analysis, documentation, and validation of integrated systems Aerospace/Defense systems or commercial systems.
Familiarity with DOD systems including surface systems, SSDS or Aegis experience is a plus
Exposure to requirements engineering and management of requirements using Rational Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
Familiar with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence
Education Req:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Understanding of electronic, electrical, computer, and networking systems.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Other desired qualifications include:
Knowledge of systems and software engineering development methodologies.
Excellent interpersonal skills as demonstrated by a record of influencing internal leadership and external customers on design decisions.
Current U.S. DOD Secret Security Clearance.
This role is contingent upon contract award to Thunderbolt Solutions and additional requirements set forth by the customer.
