The Boeing Company is currently seeking a System Design and Integration Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the team in North Charleston, SC that will focus on supporting the Enterprise Information Technology (IT) Factory environment.

A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with business focal, leaders, IT Business Success Leaders and stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain IT computing infrastructure on the factory floor enabling the business to meet their organizational and program goals.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance, design, and support of factory and manufacturing computing infrastructures

• Work with cross functional technical teams and business partners to deliver technology solutions for specific business use cases

• Build, automate, and standardize common and repeatable build processes

• Produce and present documented design solutions to partners and leadership

• Build relationship with service providers and internal customers

• Own projects or focal activities and drive them to completion with minimal oversight

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience with diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing IT systems related problems

• Experience with using PowerShell, Bash, and Python

• Understanding of Windows operating systems and computing networks

• Strong communication skills to support collaboration with customers, computing architects, other IT organizations, and suppliers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 3+ years of experience in scripting and automation in PowerShell and Bash

• 1+ years of experience creating and maintaining enterprise-wide images and builds for computing devices

• 1+ years of experience creating and configuring Virtual Machines

• Experience with SQL and other database technologies

• Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, or any object-oriented programming language

• Experience creating clarity in complex situations

• Experience with Azure DevOps

Typical Education & Experience:

Mid–Level (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Mid-Level: $102,000 – $138,000

Summary pay range for Senior: $120,700 – $163,300
