What this position entails
IntelliScript's Product Development has been a key part of our success and is critical to our future. In this position, you will have responsibility for shaping the ongoing development and enhancement of IntelliScript's industry-leading software by evolving the broader technology and architectural view of the solution. The System Architect will play a critical role in aligning teams on the Agile Release Train and Solution Train to a shared technical direction. To do this, you will partner with teams in elaborating the solution, validating technology assumptions, evaluating alternative solutions, and creating the continuous delivery pipeline. We are looking for someone who will apply their strong technical expertise with a customer-centric and systems-thinking mindset.
What you'll be doing

• Lead planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and exploration of alternative solutions
• Partner with DevOps to drive the continuous exploration process as part of the continuous delivery pipeline
• Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communication requirements
• Establish nonfunctional requirements for the solution and participate in defining others
• Work with stakeholders to establish the high-level solution intent, the solution intent information models, and documentation requirements
• Participate as a program leader, supporting the Product Manager and RTE, in PI planning, pre and post-PI planning, system and solution demos, and I&A events
• Plan and develop the architectural runway in support of new business features and capabilities
• Serve as a technical resource for the development team

What we need

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with healthcare standards and interoperability, including clinical data, FHIR, CCDA, HL7, pharmacy, and claims data
• Strong experience with C#, SQL, API and service development
• Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and related web UI frameworks
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS
• Experience analyzing solutions and exploring alternative solutions, with the ability to make recommendations and improvements based on findings
• Ability to ramp up quickly on both new and existing technologies
• Excellent technical design, problem solving, and debugging skills
• Excellent collaborative skills, with strong written and verbal communication

Location
This position will be based out of the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI; however, this position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed.
The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $195,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. If overall experience is less than 15 years the range would be $105,000 to $175,000; for experience of greater than 15 years, the range would be $120,000 to $195,000. In addition, we offer a performance-based bonus plan, profit sharing, and generous benefits.
