Job Summary:
Principally responsible for overseeing and providing support to all finance on the accounting and operational systems for Finance. The System Analyst will directly engage with all new acquisitions to ensure team is supported and systems are functioning.
In this role, you will:
- Provide training of Deltek Vision system to the new merger team members throughout the data migration process and on-site presence at Go-Live.
- Identify the business requirements of the new merger organizations and work closely with IT and consultants for the data migration.
- Update and maintain the organization training materials and processes for all Vision transactions and functionalities (project set up, billing, intercompany etc.).
- Attend weekly vision conversion meeting with the consultants and company system conversion team.
- Manage the weekly data migration action items by working with the consultants and new merger team.
- Meet each functional team of the organization and confirm that they are ready to Go-Live with new systems.
- Provide support to the new team for at least 2 months month end close process.
- Work with IT and consultants to troubleshoot the finance processes and financial system issues for the new merger team.
You will be a great fit if:
- Experience working with Deltek Vision or VantagePoint accounting software is a requirement.
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or business administration required.
- 5 - 7 years of progressive and related financial accounting and ERP system experience.
- Experience in Vision or Vantagepoint conversion is preferred.
- Job Cost Accounting experience required.
- Project billing or accounting experience within engineering industry preferred.
- Expert Microsoft Excel skills required.
