Job description

Are you looking for an opportunity to build and grow your Information Technology (IT) skills and knowledge in an IT position with room for advancement? In this position, the incumbent will perform a wide range of technical assignments and tasks. The incumbent must have the ability to work independently and be willing to effectively collaborate with staff in other technical groups to provide technical support for the Employment Development Department's (EDD) centralized and decentralized personal computing systems, servers and network system distributed across multiple locations. The incumbent will provide remote and in-person technical support directly to EDD staff in multiple office locations across a local geographic area.
This position may be eligible for telework under EDD's telework policy. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office, as needed.
Position exists in Oceanside.

Working Conditions
Daily travel to offices within the general geographic area. State vehicle is provided for business travel. Lift, carry, move, transport IT equipment.

    Background Investigation Requirement
