Job Title: System Administrator
iPower Technologies, A growing MSP providing computer and network support Nationally has an immediate opening for a Level II Field-based Systems Administrator at our West Palm Beach location. The role involves providing onsite support to our client base.
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in a fast-paced Business IT Support Environment. A positive attitude, customer service orientation, and the ability to follow through on customer requests and support issues are essential. We prioritize exemplary work ethic, consistent performance, reliability, and attendance.
Candidates must be well-organized, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks, and able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines. Flexibility in scheduling is required to accommodate project deadlines, urgent issues, and occasional after-hour maintenance calls. Detail-oriented individuals who understand the importance of proper documentation and time logging in a professional services environment are preferred.
Onsite Responsibilities:
- Manage ticket queues and set departmental priorities.
- Travel to remote sites and customer locations to resolve issues with software and hardware.
- Make sure an organization's computer systems are functioning and meet the needs of the organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Collaborating with the help-desk to resolve on-site technical issues.
- Open communication with clients, scheduling client installations, guiding new equipment deployment, and hardware/network troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support onsite to our clients at their location.
- Installation of PC hardware
- Check and maintain computer hardware such as mouses and keyboards.
- Install, configure and manage software and their functions according to specifications.
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
- Assist in and plan training, development and education for new software and hardware.
- Problem solver and attention to details. Troubleshoot to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes.
- Maintain hardware and software inventory.
- Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders when necessary.
- Experience with iPads (configuration, restoring, etc)
IT Technician Requirements:
· Previous working experience as IT Technician for (5) year(s)
· Associates in networking and Microsoft , or similar relevant field
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - (Dealing with executives)
· Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
· Hands on experience with diverse computer systems and networks
· In depth knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
· Certification as IT Technician will be a big plus
Additional Requirements:
· 1-3 years' experience supporting local and remote information technology users in a Windows 10 and 11 environments
· 1-3 years' experience with networking, TCP/IP, Windows servers
· 1-2 years' experience with configuration of user laptops and desktops
· Experience with supporting applications based on .NET a plus
· Experience with mobile platforms iOS, Android, a plus
· Excellent problem solving skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (phone and in person)
· Experience supporting applications
· Proficient in spoken English
· Knowledge of Cisco Meraki
· Basic Apple Business manager and Air Watch experience
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
