MaineIT's Architecture & Policy (A&P) Team is seeking an I.T. Procurement Reviewer.
The core assignment of this position is to review I.T. Procurement instruments for enterprise Architecture & Policy alignment.
Proper vetting of I.T. Procurement instruments are highly consequential in optimizing the lifetime total cost of ownership of I.T. products and services.
Maine IT A&P team has an established workflow, and standard operating procedure, for this review process. This position is expected to align with, and help improve, the existing workflow and standard operating procedure.
This is a fast-paced assignment where both speed and precision are equally valued. Besides other members of the A&P team, this position is expected to collaborate closely with several other parties, including DAFS I.T. Procurement, MaineIT Security & Compliance, the various MaineIT Operational verticals, the various Agency business stakeholders, and the Assistant Attorney General assigned to MaineIT.
Nurturing and enhancing these various relationships is an essential assignment of this role as well. Besides essential technical competence, MaineIT values individuals that model our CARE values in everything they do.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in an Business with a concentration in technology, plus five (5) years of I.T. procurement experience. Experience with I.T. Architecture, and/or I.T. Policy, and/or I.T. compliance, and/or government procurement (10+ years of reviewing contact documents in the public sector is a plus)
Responsibilities include:
Internal and External Document Reviews: Confirm all business requirements are defined in the requested document (RFP, RFQ, Contract, Contract Amendment) and all IT Policy references noted within the digital collaboration platform (SharePoint)
Following our rigor of version control and workflow, flag missing references involving IT Policy, Data Security, Privacy, (Standard Call outs including NIST references which may be missing)
Review and formally alert MaineIT SME's involving the procurement document review from MaineIT for specific policy items including: Infrastructure/Hosting, Application Development, Digital Accessibility, Web Hosting, Network, Compliance, Security, Financial Transactions. (SharePoint and Outlook/email)
Complete a regular reviews and document successive checks with Director of A&P, Enterprise Architect or Solution Architect prior to MaineIT A&P formal sign off. (Comments writing SharePoint, Managing messaging within the Microsoft Dynamics Program program)
Communicate and report all findings by email to key SME's and A&P team. (Email and Excel)
All activity is tracked according to A&P standard workflow. (Excel)
