Ingenuity Prep is looking for an outstanding school-based Social Worker to join our Elementary School team for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years. As a member of the Ingenuity Prep Student & Family Support Team, the School Social Worker will support students and families, empower teachers, and serve as a critical partner in ensuring that students have the services they need to be successful both academically and socially/emotionally.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Elementary School Social Worker will:

• Provide effective individual and group services to students - including special education services - that emphasize improved academic and social-emotional outcomes.
• Identify students in need of counseling and social services.
• Conduct FBAs and Social History reports; develop, monitor, review, and modify behavior intervention plans
• Support identification of students in need of counseling and social services.
• In collaboration with the school's instructional leadership, empower teachers and staff by providing them with behavioral strategy support, professional development, and supporting resources; provide support for coordinating special education services.
• Provide consultation to the Director of Student Wellness on Ingenuity Prep's social and emotional learning curriculum and PBIS programming; provide consultation on the school's character development program.
• Identify and address factors leading to attendance/behavior problems; develop strategies to deal with those challenges, including individualized attendance/behavior contracts and supporting home visits
• Provide recommendations for interventions that address attendance/behavior issues through partnerships with the school and students' families
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Possess a thorough understanding of and abide by the profession's Code of Ethics.

• You have a Bachelor's degree, as well as a MSW or DSW.
• You hold one of the following social work licenses: LMSW, LGSW, LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, or LPC
• At least two years of experience serving as a Social Worker, ideally in a school setting is preferred
• You are highly skilled in engaging and supporting young children.
• You are dedicated to building relationships with our students' families, and engaging them as meaningful partners in our work with students.
• You are a systematic thinker who has successfully built processes and systems that have helped instructional leaders and teachers be more efficient and effective in their work.
• You believe effective schools are full of joy and rigor.
• You are always looking to grow your own expertise and practice and seek out resources and best practices from others.
• You have a Bachelor's degree, as well as an MSW or DSW.

Salary: $74,067 - 92,500 (commensurate with 1-10 years of experience)
