Position Overview: Yu Ying is looking for passionate and experienced Chinese Lead Teachers (CLTs) to inspire and guide our students through an immersive language learning journey. Lead Teachers at Washington Yu Ying are part of a collaborative and supportive faculty with a common goal of continuously improving a great school. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our youngest students. Essential Responsibilities:
- Implement early years (Pre K) curriculum (Reading, Lang Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science)
- Ability to plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies
- Work in a trusted and positive manner within a team environment
- Establish a positive classroom culture
- Emphasize and support oral language development across all content areas
- Communicate effectively to families and work collaboratively with them as partners
- Work positively and collaboratively as a member of a grade team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's or Master's degree in education preferred.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required
- One year of experience as a Lead Classroom Teacher minimum

Terms of Employment: 10 Months
- Working Environment: In-school. The role is based on-site and will grow to include another campus, which will result in interaction with students, parents and staff.
