SW/FPGA Engineer

We are seeking an SW/FPGA Engineer with a DSP background to become an integral part of our team! You will support developing FPGA software for RF products and executing hardware/software test procedures for production and prototyping. Including testing to identify software/hardware issues and support production.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Xilinx FPGA software (VHDL/Verlilog) for RF Transceiver integration and radio development
• Develop System Architecture Designs
• Perform and modify test procedures for hardware and software products
• Investigate and recreate reported defects
• Work with other engineers to troubleshoot and resolve software issues
• Track and document defects and resolutions
• Participate in the design and development for test automation and support
• Support new product development testing and production

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Experience in Related Field
• Proficient in VHDL and/or Verilog
• Xilinx SoC/ Vivado Familiarity
• Advanced Programming Knowledge in VHDL/Verilog, Java, Javascript, C or Perl, Linux Scripting a plus
• Fundamental understanding of Digital Signal Processing, Analog to Digital Conversion theory
• Ability to work well in a small business environment
• Ability to write technical procedures in a clear and concise manner
• Knowledge of Versioning Systems such as Git and Subversion
• Familiarity with Linux, Windows and Office Products
• Strong root-cause analysis skills
• Willingness to Learn new Technologies and skills
• Efficient Work Habits and detail-oriented

Requirements:

Travel:
