Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for maintaining records for daily reports, performance maintenance on pumps and other equipment with minimal or no supervision.
Responsibilities :
- Cleaning out SWD filter baskets on the pumps and offload locations
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with truck drivers.
- Checking loads to ensure fluid is acceptable for disposal.
- Proactively monitoring water levels at site to ensure tanks are within their operating parameters.
- Daily inspection of equipment and facility operating functions
- Perform necessary preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Monitoring and account for skim oil volumes removed from facility.
- Tracking pump pressures
- Coordinate with trucking companies on delivery of saltwater.
- Monitoring drivers for proper procedures and the use of personal protection equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and saltwater disposal requirements.
- Reporting safety and environmental issues to management
- Computer knowledge - Proficient utilizing MS Windows environment
- Strong initiative and self-starter
- Ability to keep neat and accurate records.
- Multi-task orientation with skills related to work prioritization.
- Excellent Interpersonal Communications skills in a team environment
- General mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to identify operational inefficiencies.
- Understanding of Business fundamentals
- Ability to implement cost effective solutions.
- Technical Skills related to math and analytical thinking.
- Understanding of Importance of environmental and Safe Work Practices
- 1-3 years of Salt-Water Disposal Operator experience or Maintenance Roustabout/Pusher experience specific to Centrifugal, triplex and H Pumps etc.
- Must be knowledgeable with O&G Production Operations
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of PD pumps, Quinniplex pumps, H pumps, & Centrifugal pumps and working oil
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills (familiarity with Microsoft Excel) and simple mathematical calculations
- Valid driver's license and clean record
- Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including: background, drug, hair follicle, MVR, agility and fit for duty
