JOB SUMMARY:

 

The Senior Vice President, TM Banker is primarily accountable for developing the most significant of new client relationships in a specified region or business vertical, but will also support existing client needs as appropriate.  The SVP, TM Banker representative will have the ability to sell all deposit and non-interest income products offered by the Bank and know when to call upon their internal subject matter experts for added help.They will help with the training of staff within their territory and will work with the team to reach budgeted financial goals.  The Banker will work to market the Bank and develop relationships with venture capital firms, venture-backed technology or life science companies, and other key contacts within the entrepreneurial ecosystem


  • Responsible for the development and execution of a strategic plan for the assigned market, which aligns with the Bank’s deposit and non-interest income goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a collaborative sales culture within TM Sales and line of business partners in the assigned markets. This includes consideration of a diverse set of customers and the appropriate sales channel delivery of deposit and non-interest income products.
  • Demonstrate and develop leadership, both professional and technical, across the TM organization and with line of business partners and leadership.
  • Partner across Treasury Management, Operations, Information Services, and Corporate Banking in a collaborative, team oriented fashion.
  • Budget, plan and manage expenses within annual business plans assigned to the market.
  • Manage directly or indirectly a team of Treasury Management sales professionals to exceed individual and market sales goals.
  • Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver employee performance evaluations, goal planning, and counseling.
  • Manage, support, coach and train staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required:

  • 10+ years relevant banking and/or financial services experience
  • 5 years experience selling financial products and services
  • 5 years experience in customer service and relationship management
  • Preferred: Knowledge of corporate banking, venture banking, cash management, working capital, FX, and trade finance
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Treasury Management Associate Certified Treasury Professional Accreditation or willingness to obtain CTP

Salary Range: $133,596.00-$222,668.00 USD; Final salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with geographic/market data.
