Treasury Management Analyst

Job Description
Overall responsibility for the accounting, tracking, and reconciliations of the company's bank accounts, investments and other associated financial transactions. This role involves ensuring completeness and accuracy for the recording of all cash transactions (cash applications, payment of invoices, recording of interest, etc.), maintaining cash forecasts, and ensuring the company has accounted for its cash and investments properly in performing its operations. This position will lead the coordination of the Treasury Management function within the Finance Department, and also support Billing, Accounting, Investor Relations, SEC Reporting, and other functions within the department as needed.
Key duties include:
Treasury Management:
• Daily responsibility for coordination and documentation of company's cash activity and balances on deposit with domestic and foreign banks:
 Cash application processing, including reconciliation of previous day's lock box and inbound wire transfer activity;
 Coordination and reconciliation of investment activity and reports;
 Investigation and resolution of errors and variances; and
 Overall administration of electronic banking applications, template creation and processing of outgoing wire and ACH payments.
• Preparation of various month-end cash reports and associated shipments and bookings in connection with the monthly accounting close process.
• Cross-trained support for stock option data entry and report generation as required (i.e., back-up support during absences).
• Month-end General Ledger posting of journal entries, including licensing and royalty income streams.
• Petty Cash: Process petty cash requests daily and reconcile monthly.
• Manual Checks: Issue manual checks when needed.
• Commissions: preparation of commission analysis and payment request for commissions when needed.
Billing:
• Preparation of daily/monthly reconciliation of billing and shipping records and invoices.
• Credit Memo processing, monitor of credit mailbox, audit requests, Distribution Point of Sale (POS) reporting etc.
Investor Relations / Financial Reporting:
• Supporting the financial press releases, investor relations' mailings and screening of incoming investor and analyst calls if needed.
• Support the coordination and execution of quarterly earnings
Education / Qualifications
• 4+ years related experience, preferably in a publicly traded company
• Degree in accounting or finance- Bachelor's preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Extensive spreadsheet experience in Excel, including analysis of data
• SAP experience is preferred as the company is transitioning to SAP
• PeopleSoft or other ERP system experience a plus
• Self-starter; ability to multi-task and work with limited supervision
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Team player with the willingness to learn and perform unscheduled assigned tasks
