This position supports Managing Principal and Principal leaders with primary focus on client service and relationships for ourAccounting Firm Clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for all phases of client relationship management and retention strategies with a focus on service and delivery of Lemme, a division of EPIC (Lemme) and other EPIC resources. 
  • Work closely with account team to monitor and manage service to clients including, but not limited to, the following tasks:
    • Identify, analyze, and quantify risk exposures for clients/prospects and recommend appropriate insurance products/services
    • Create and submit renewal specifications to the marketplace and consult with clients in the development of underwriting materials for submission to markets
    • Negotiate policy terms, conditions, and premiums.
    • Review quotes, binders, policies and endorsements for accuracy and transmit to clients
    • Present marketing results to clients
    • Investigate and endeavor to resolve policy and/or claims issues between insured and insurer
    • Monitor the collection of claims information and payouts, as required
    • Monitor and manage requests for and issuance of certificates of insurance
  • Develop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters
  • Keep client abreast of marketplace financial conditions, developments and innovations
  • Implement and maintain a quality service plan in all areas of client deliverables
  • Support and grow ongoing client relationships
  • Review selected provisions within contracts  to evaluate insurance requirements for clients Assist with special projects and client requests
  • Coordinate the production of renewal strategy, renewal presentation and stewardship reports
  • Coordinate international placements/services with our international broker network, as required
  • Contribute to winning prospect opportunities, including preparation of proposals, written RFP responses and oral presentations
  • Communicate client developments and service results, market conditions and developments and team member performance to leadership regularly

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Graduate degree or professional designation a plus
  • Minimum of 8 years of insurance industry and/or brokerage experience, with some focus in Professional Liability/errors and omissions (E&O) insurance products.
  • Experience working with an agency management system such as Sagitta or Salesforce
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Adobe

The national average salary for this role is $180 000 to $250 000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data. Note, this role is non-exempt / hourly.
