What you'll be doing:  

    The Senior Vice President, Operational Excellence PMO leads the strategy and execution of the Project Management Office in support of enterprise-wide improvement priorities for SCP Health's Business Operations. This includes leading multi-disciplinary, cross-department projects to address process standardization, simplification and technology solutions enabling the business to rapidly scale and maintain a culture of Operational Excellence and client satisfaction. This position will lead the clinician onboarding experience, development and execution of the LEAN deployment strategy, project management and data/analytics capabilities to help to enable sustainable process transformation. 

    • Provide overall Lean leadership, project management and simplification to key areas of the SCP Health's Business Operations organization. Lead PMO inclusive of end-to-end project planning, risk identification, dependency tracking, issue identification and change management on projects.
    • Responsible for partnering with Functional and IT Leaders to define key value streams that will have the greatest impact on the business and client. Own project prioritization, metrics, and results.
    • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to define key VSM/projects/initiatives, drive business cases and ROI justifications for infrastructure investments. Key decision maker in process and technology programs, and roadmaps for investment on a 12-24 month horizon.
    • Lead Business Operations support teams to identify any gaps in systems or processes and develop solutions.
    • Lead Data, Reporting & Analytics team to develop and enhance the data and metrics, reporting, and tools to ensure alignment within the department in support of Business Operations performance management.
    • Create progressive learning plan for problem solving and process improvement skills development across the organization. Coach Senior and Functional leadership in the use of Lean tools and the process improvements methodologies.
    • Develop training and development standard modules for department leaders to utilize.
    • Serve as change agent by influencing, communicating, and institutionalizing a culture of simplification, standardization, and continuous improvement.
    • Participate in the development of system and process training programs.
    • Create and implement communication plans regarding departmental changes related to processes, programs, and special projects in development.
    • Critical integration point between Business Operations, IT, and Field Operations. Key communicator of progress, status and issues to business leaders.
    • Accountable for positive leadership of direct reports to include ongoing direction, coaching and career development.

    Who/What we are looking for: 

    • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree, preferred.
    • You have 10+ years strategic operational and process excellence planning leading large corporate level technology and process improvement projects.
    • You have 8+ years' experience leading systems improvement initiatives and teams.
    • Healthcare industry experience, a plus.
    • PMP certification, required.
    • Lean Leader or Master Black Belt, preferred.
    • Broad business acumen and leadership knowledge with a strong ability to influence.
    • Ability to thrive and manage in complex environments and bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
    • Highly efficient, collaborative, and organized.
    • Executive presence with effective communication and oral presentation skills.
    • Highly refined and effective relationship building skills.
    • Excellent critical thinking and emotional intelligence capabilities.
    • Consistently accountable, responsible, and available.
    • Drives change, automation, and a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Adept in project management and process improvement methodologies.
    • Possesses a complete understanding and application of recruiting, scheduling, and credentialing principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
    • Builds strategic alliances and partnerships within the organization to collaboratively execute business strategies.
