Job DescriptionWilshire is seeking candidates for an Institutional Investment Consultant and Senior Vice President (SVP) role. Wilshire is one of the world’s largest and most respected investment consultancies, advising to over $1 trillion in assets, and managing over $90 billion in discretionary/OCIO capital on behalf of our clients around the globe.
What you’ll do:
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and proactive in serving our endowment, foundation, healthcare organization, pensions, and other retirement plans and institutional investors with the following:
- Manage client relationships across all investment-related matters
- Capital markets commentary and education
- Investment research and asset allocation
- Manager selection and monitoring
- Performance attribution and risk management
- Investment policy development
- Deliver clear, concise and thoughtful presentations
- Ability to be effective in c-suite/board room meetings
- Experience and confidence in speaking at conferences/webinars
- Stay involved in industry events and networking with industry peers
- Traveling regularly is a required part of the role
- Support other Wilshire associates in development and understanding of key client initiatives
- Auditing material and presentations for client delivery
- Provide education and mentoring to assist in professional growth
- Generate or support new business development
- Participate in RFP responses
- Present to prospective clients in a finalist presentations
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience working with institutional investors
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong written, verbal, and quantitative analysis skills required
- Must be willing and able to travel at least 50% of the time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Preferred qualifications:
- CFA-designation preferred, or progress towards the CFA
- CAIA preferred
- MBA preferred

The salary range for this position is $190,000 – $210,000/year. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis considering various factors, including location, qualifications, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and a full range of health and financial benefits, which will be provided in conjunction with an offer of employment.
