The SVP, Experience Strategy reports into the Executive Vice President, Strategy
Core Responsibilities:
Provides direction of strategic deliverables – the development of strategic deliverables supporting the larger customer experience across all channels for a brand and/or therapeutic area, including but not limited to customer journeys, persona development, positioning and messaging, brand planning, social listening, omnichannel ecosystem development, personalization and modular content strategy
Amplifies thought leadership – stays abreast to innovation and trends cross-vertical, and scales within and outside of the department and agency to display continued thought leadership while maintaining a high level of digital acumen. Turns action into innovation by sparking motivation and action within the broader team.
Collaboration and relationship building– serves as a subject matter expert in the customer experience for all facets of planning and activation as applicable, with a strong lens towards digital innovation, while fostering business growth and nurturing relationships with our clients, agency partners, and internal cross functional teams.
Leads, Motivates, and Coaches – mentors and coaches future strategy leaders and amplifies knowledge to nurture career growth for direct reports and broader team
Strategically utilizes data – demonstrates ability to harness and leverage data through both tools and talent, recognizing how to leverage data to strengthen the customer experience and support business challenges. Pulls in the ‘so what’ to connect the dots between data insights and an associated action.
Serves as a steward across brands and appropriate therapeutic areas – Leverages a deep understanding of brand marketing to collaborate on the successful building of effective, insight-driven B2B/HCP brand imperatives and sub-strategies. Develops and implements strategic initiatives that strengthen brand equity and foster long-term brand loyalty.
Embodies storytelling and dynamic presentation skills – Shepherds dynamic and compelling executive presentations that deliver brand and digital strategy and new thinking in a clear story with a compelling narrative. Provides coaching and mentorship to team members and colleagues on effective presentation skills and public speaking best practices to convey strategic thinking.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 12+ years in healthcare marketing and/or brand, digital, or engagement strategy
- Experience in team leadership, managing and coaching direct reports
- Healthcare experience with a focus in pharmaceutical, strong preference for rare disease experience and brands in various stages of lifecycle
- Strong leadership presence and dynamic presentation skills
- Nimble skillset to span multiple strategy verticals, including brand strategy, digital strategy, content strategy, social strategy, to fully encompass the entire customer experience
- Both HCP and DTC experience
- Embodiment of Propeller’s core values - passion, authenticity, and grit
- Extensive experience leading workshops and brand planning efforts
- Strong decision making skills
- Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-moving, and entrepreneurial environment
- Bachelor’s degree required.
The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
