This leader will be responsible for leading and managing the core operations platforms for EmpiRx Health.

What You'll Do:
As SVP Core Platform, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities:
- Acquire, own, develop, enhance, maintain and support PBM core operations platforms.
- Oversee team of software engineers performing various functions
- Develop and implement strategy to enhance the platforms for better member service, reducing operating cost and increasing efficiency.
- Develop new features as per business requirements.
- Optimize, rearchitect platforms to keep up with industry standard architecture and to reduce technology debt.
- Work with compliance to support and maintain compliance.
- Work with SLT and different departments to participate in innovating and implementing new products and solutions.
- Ensure 99.99 % uptime of the platform.
- Ensure platform interoperability by developing various integration mechanisms.
- Manage and grow team professionally.
- Set up, oversee, and manage support process for all the platforms to provide 24X7X365 support.
- Create and implement technology roadmap for platforms.
- Be a leadership Team member for IT making crucial technical and strategic decisions.
What You Need:
- Bachelors or Maters Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 15 to 20 years of relevant experience
- Significant experience running large software development teams (200+ people) in one of the following domains: databases, SaaS, cloud services, analytics tools, observability, security, or GenAI
- Extensive Engineering Leadership: Proven track record of success in leading large-scale engineering organizations, preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven company.
- Technical Competence: Strong software development and technology background, with a deep understanding of modern engineering practices and methodologies.
- Cloud architecture experience with at least two cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Understanding and experience in healthcare application development, HIPAA and compliance requirements
- Inspirational Leadership: Humble and ambitious, you are passionate about mentorship and team development, encouraging a culture of excellence, ownership, and growth. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with C-level executives and stakeholders from different parts of the business and engineering teams alike.
