Sustainabilty Report PM (Contingent)

The Worldwide Sustainability (WWS) team capitalizes on Amazon’s scale, speed, and ability to build, invent and simplify a more resilient and sustainable company. We manage our social and environmental impacts globally and drive solutions that enable our customers, businesses, and the world to become more sustainable.

The WWS Global IMPACT team leads Amazon’s efforts to report progress annually on Amazon’s environmental, social, and governance commitments. We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the development of Amazon’s 2023 Sustainability Report and related project management tasks, in a full-time (40 hours/week), contract-based position. The person in this role will flex into various project needs at critical milestones, providing support across the project for both report development and project management workstreams. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, results-oriented, and customer-focused.

Candidates based in Seattle, San Francisco, or Washington, DC/Arlington, VA, are preferred, but remote candidates will also be considered. This contract-based role will run through July 2024, with the potential for extension.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Support report workstreams including design, copywriting, copyediting, reviews, etc.
• Support report project management workstreams including communications, scheduling, stakeholder list management, etc.
• Maintain the report project calendar

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, business, sustainability, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in ESG reporting, project management, communications, or related field
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• A self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to operate in a in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Attention to detail

Contract Length - 6 months

Location - Remote

Pay range $50ph -$55ph
