Job Description
This intern will assist in the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of programs and software systems that support Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) excellence. Contribute towards a culture of proactivity, accountability, engagement, and sustainability through robust programs and processes with the primary goal of reducing loss and liability throughout the company. In this internship, you will have the opportunity to get hands-on experience and training with data collection, facility project exposure, ESG reporting frameworks, sustainability reports, and key stakeholder relationships.
This position will be onsite in our Milwaukee, WI Headquarters.
Key Accountabilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability programs, policies, and initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze data related to water usage, energy consumption, waste generation, and greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Support sustainability reporting efforts, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving resource efficiency and reducing environmental impacts.
  • Assist with the creation and management of a SharePoint page for centralizing sustainability data, documents, and resources

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Strong passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship, with a desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Previous experience or coursework in sustainability, environmental management, or related fields is preferred but not required.
