Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and creating high-quality sushi dishes. If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and create a variety of sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of sushi ingredients
- Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in sushi preparation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and presentation
- Excellent knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
