BiXi Beer is looking for a skilled culinary professional who specializes in the art of sushi preparation. They are responsible for creating and presenting high-quality sushi dishes for customers. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of sushi ingredients, techniques, and presentation. The head Sushi Chef resposiblities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Creat, implement, and oversee sushi program.
- Prepare and assemble sushi dishes according to presentation standards.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all ingredients used in sushi preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and timely service.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food preparation and handling.
As the Sushi Chef, you will work in conjuction with the executive chef to maintain high standards in managing a sushi program. You will also be in charge of preparing different types of raw fish preparations including maki, sashimi, nigiri and enjoy incorporating global asian flavors.
Must have broad knowledge of fish and seafood
Salary: 60k - 75k
