Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Michelin Star Executive Sushi Chef to spearhead the culinary team of our upcoming Japanese restaurant at our fresh location! We are flexible with either top-tier sushi omakase, kaiseki, or izakaya theme, but our primary focus is on hiring an executive chef who has established a strong reputation and follower base and boasts traditional training.
TASKS OF THE SUSHI CHEF:
- Profound proficiency in the Japanese language
- Direction and supervision of the Company's culinary operations at its retail site(s)
- Recruitment and coaching of kitchen personnel
- Overseeing all cooking practices
- Designing and enhancing recipes and preparations
- Executing periodic promotions
- Optimizing food sales and financial results
- Guarantee proper kitchen functioning and preservation
