Position Summary / Job Duties:
Individual must be able to perform the following duties.
- Use of CAD software and ability to post process survey data. AutoCAD Civil3D & Trimble TBC preferred,
- Produce finished survey deliverables including but not limited to base mapping, topographic and contour data, ALTA, boundary & utility surveys.
- Provide calculation and plotting of deeds, plans and survey documentation.
- Produce survey exhibits, plans, plats and other drafting.
- Develop construction stakeout upload files and hard sheets for survey crews.
- Process and produce post-construction and AsBuilt data and drawings.
- Provide and follow quality processes and procedures.
- Effectively communicate with internal & external stakeholders and team members.
Qualifications
Qualifications / Required Training, Experience, Education and/or Skills:
- Preferred Minimum of 3 years of Survey Technician / CAD experience.
- Requires knowledge of both survey technology and basic civil engineering concepts.
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Survey Technician III or IV or LSIT preferred.
- Candidates with bachelor's degree from ABET accredited survey curriculum preferred.
- Candidates with Remote Sensing experience such as sUAV/Drone Part 107 Pilots, Laser Scanning and/or hydrographic surveys is a plus.
- Candidates must have good written and verbal communication skills, good mechanical, and computer skills.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Candidates may from time to time be required to work from an office or home setting and in outdoor, construction, industrial or other project settings.
