Survey Technician

HNM Systems provides direct hire, contract to hire, and professional placement to the Telecommunications, Utilities, and IT sectors. HNM also offers turn-key engineering services for the design of outside and inside plant, power utility, and Wi-Fi systems. The telecommunications, utilities, and IT industries are essential to buildout affordable broadband networks and strengthen cybersecurity for decades to come.
Our customer, a leading Telecom and Power Contractor is currently seeking a Survey Technician to join their team. At the direction of the project manager, the field technician will be required to do pole surveys and topographic surveys.
Minimum Requirements

• Strong technical skills with running Stonex, Topcon or Trimble GPS instruments.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, multi-task, work under time constraints, attention to detail and demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.

Preferred skills:

• Associate degree (Previous work experience can be substituted for education.)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
