Job Description
Our client is looking for a full-time Survey (construction) Project Manager in Northwest Indiana. This is a distant position that necessitates frequent trips to our Woodridge office for training and other meetings. Qualified applicants must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a work ethic that stresses customer satisfaction as a top professional goal, and a drive to learn. ALTA, Boundary, Topographic, Subdivision, and Condominium Surveys will be signed, sealed, and prepared by our Survey Project Manager.
General Responsibilities Include
- Various land surveys are being prepared.
- Managing Survey Projects from start to finish.
- Bidding on new projects and developing/writing proposals.
- Interaction with the client.
- Assist other Project Managers and Professional Land Surveyors with project planning and drafting.
- Keep track of project budgets and revenues.
Qualifications
- Strong Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills required.
- Proficient in AutoCad Civil 3D experience in construction calculations/Boundary and Topographic Survey preferred.
- Professional licensure in Indiana required; Illinois licensure a plus.
- Must have 7+ year land surveying experience in Indiana.
