As a Survey CAD Technician at Atwell you will work on diverse projects with various size, scope, and detail. You will work in a flexible work environment with a fantastic culture and a national presence. Atwell is looking for Survey Technicians who are interested in being a subject matter expert in land development, renewable energy, and construction projects.
Resourceful Support:
- Act as a valuable resource for design staff, providing guidance on drafting practices and procedures.
CAD Proficiency:
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments, ensuring they align with Atwell's standards.
Drawing Production:
- Generate various drawings specific to projects, including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts, and construction staking.
Survey Data Analysis:
- Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions, considering factors like legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
Plan Modification:
- Responsibly edit and modify plans in line with revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients, following directives closely.
Workflow Coordination:
- Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workflow status, ensuring the team meets chargeability goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of previous AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience
- Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) Preferred
- High School Diploma Required, Associated Degree Preferred
- Thorough understanding of Altas, Topos, Boundaries, and Construction Staking
