· Uses Autodesk Civil 3D & Microstation to perform drafting tasks including, but not limited to creating alignments, profiles, surfaces, grading objects, cross sections and pipe networks
· Uses data from topographic surveys, record drawings and utility maps to create engineering base maps
· Prepare construction drawings for water distribution; waste water collection; drainage / storm sewer systems for land development and municipal projects as well as roadway improvements.
· Prepares construction document plan sets by compiling plan, profile, site plans, note and detail sheets
· Analyze sketches, notes and other input material to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete drawings with minimal supervision
· Completes redlines for modification of existing plans and notes or preparation of new details or design elements
· Inform Project Manager(s) and CAD Manager of progress on assigned projects and communicate design concerns with project managers
· Support multiple projects when needed and ensure timely completion of assignments
· Understand and use established company standards for drafting including layers, line types and text styles
· Creates and modifies maps
· Other assigned duties as required
