Surgery Center of Viera is seeking experienced Surgical/Sterile Procedure Technologists for full time outpatient Spine/Neurosurgery

We are currently seeking a hard working Surgical Tech who puts the patient first, provides top quality service, and is able learn quickly and keep up in a fast-paced environment.

Surgical Technologist: Facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive and non-invasive surgical procedures, ensuring the operating room environment/equipment are safe, equipment functions properly, and the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Prepare instruments and supplies utilizing the principles of asepsis and sterile technique. Combine the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation and tools and technologies to facilitate a physician’s procedures.

Scrub Tech Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday. No weekends.

Key Skills

• Experienced Surgical Technologist
• Knowledge and experience with sterile processing
• Understand medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
• Accurate and precise attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Goal-oriented, organized team player
• Basic computer skills, such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• HIPAA, OSHA, AHCA

Education and Experience

• Certified Surgical Technologist (willing to hire non certified if experienced)
• Supplies or Materials Management/ Sterile processing
• High school degree or equivalent

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

• NBSTSA CST preferred
• ACLS required

Compensation Package:

• Pay based on experience
