Responsibilities and Duties:

• Main surgical tech for 1 of our 2 OR's each surgery day
• Setting up a sterile field and scrubbing surgical cases which mostly consist of cataracts, and some glaucoma procedures.
• Instrument Sterilization
• Loading intraocular lenses
• Inventory/stocking the OR's
• Cleaning of the OR's and surrounding areas
• Administrative work leading up to the surgery day

Required work experience:

• Prior surgical tech experience (Ophthalmic preferred)
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Surgical tech: 1 year (Required)
