Our Piedmont Oral Surgery Center is looking for a motivated Surgical Assistant to join our amazing surgical team!
This is a full-time (hourly, non-exempt) position.
You will be travelling between our Greensboro and Burlington offices along with the doctor.
You can look forward to a Four-and-a-half-day work week with a half day on your assigned doctor’s off day. No evenings and no weekends!
Greensboro Location: 2105 Braxton Lane, Suite 102, Greensboro, NC 27408
Burlington Location: 3493 Forestdale Dr. Suite 102, Burlington, NC 27215

You may have experience in the dental or medical assisting field.
What you will do:
- Preparing patient for surgery
- Ensuring all general anesthesia prep has been completely successfully
- Taking panoramic X-rays & 3D scans
- Checking all documents for accuracy
- Ensure solid communication between patient and doctor
- Monitoring vitals during surgery
- Passing and assisting for procedures
- Accurately complete operative report
- Explaining post-operative care
- Sterilization of surgical equipment
- Strict adherence to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and OSHA regulations/procedures
- Other duties as assigned
