Surgical Assistant

We are seeking a full-time Surgical Assistant for our Duluth office. The Surgical Assistant assists the oral surgeon during procedures such as dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, and biopsy of gingiva and bone. The assistant will make notes about performed procedures, progress, recommendations, and other subjects in the patient's charts. Surgical assistants must ensure that surgical instruments are properly cleaned and sterilized before procedures begin. Taking xrays is required and we will provide x-ray certification if you do not have the GA certificate. You will be responsible for tasks such as checking vital signs or maintaining IV fluid flows during procedures. Recent graduates of surgical technology and dental assisting are welcome to apply.
