Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Participates as a member of the health care team as the Scheduler for the OR Cath Lab and GI. To accurately data enter all procedures scheduled in for OR/ GI/Cath Lab ensuring correct patient data procedure and any additional information that would require specialized equipment that may be required working with the physicians.

Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Participates as a member of the health care team as the Scheduler for the OR Cath Lab and GI. To accurately data enter all procedures scheduled in for OR/ GI/Cath Lab ensuring correct patient data procedure and any additional information that would require specialized equipment that may be required working with the physicians.
- This position is represented by SEIU Local 1107 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Typing skills of 35 wpm.
- Recent working knowledge of computer systems including Windows.
- High school diploma.
- Formal Medical Terminology or a minimum of two (2) years related experience in scheduling medical/surgical procedures or operating room technician experience.
- Good communications skills.
- Able to handle very stressful situations.
- Ability to work independently.
- Detail oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year data entry experience preferred.
