Job Summary:
Frankfort Regional Medical Center is seeking a qualified general surgeon to join their established practice in Frankfort, Kentucky.Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified/board eligible in general surgery
- Robotics training and interest is preferred
- Ability to obtain KY license
- New residents and experienced surgeons will be considered
- Available to start fall/winter 2024

- Mix of inpatient/outpatient
- Cover only 1 hospital; practice located adjacent to hospital campus
- Join 2 experienced general surgeons, 3rd Legacy physician retiring after 25+ years with Capital Surgical
- Typical Week: 1:3 call, 2-2.5 days of clinic per week, 2-2.5 days in the OR
- Freedom to practice broad surgical skills; can accommodate interests based on skillset
- DaVinci XI robot with block availability, First Assistants, 4 Operating Rooms
- 1:3 Call, Call Pay Day 1, night call from home
