Responsible for review and oversight of Surety Underwriting Assistants and operational processes with minimal supervision. Actively contributes as a technical expert in both Surety Operations and department specific industry knowledge. Collaborates with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.

What YOU will do:
MFX Offshore Team oversight:
- Act as company point person for all MFX Offshore functions.
- Responsible for oversight of processing quality, metrics and capacity.
- Responsible for reviewing, allocating and paying monthly offshore invoices.
- Responsible for offshore staff evaluations, promotions and increases.
Manage Regional Office Underwriting Assistants (UA) and UW Technical Associates (UTA)
- Monitor and quality review daily work product.
- New hire/intern recruiting, onboarding and training.
- Perform CITE reviews and provide feedback.
- Ensure all departmental procedures are documented and updated as needed.
Business Processing
- In depth knowledge of department products and services.
- Participate in development of training materials and lead training sessions.
- Ensure workload is adequately balanced across team members and assist in processing when necessary.
- Actively review and continuously improve workflow, process and procedures.
- Work with IT team to implement new or enhance existing technology solutions.
Additional Duties
- Work with department and corporate remittance teams to resolve high priority billing issues as needed.
- Handle coordination with MGA’s related to premium bordereaux and special arrangements. Coordinate with corporate reinsurance and related departments.
- Audit the regional offices’ ImageRight account files and review for operational accuracy that involves processing schedule, file structure, underwriting documentation and proper set up of accounts.
- Handle Data Quality Review audits on bond premiums at a minimum threshold on a monthly basis.
What YOU will bring to C&F:
- Minimum of seven years managerial experience.
- At least five years’ experience in Commercial Insurance or Surety operations.
- College degree is preferred.
- Solid computer skills, including Excel, Word, E-Surety (a plus).
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work with all levels of the organization.
