Job Description


A comprehensive and effective Global Technology intake and prioritization process is essential for understanding technology needs across the system and making informed strategic prioritization decisions. Prioritization ensures that strategies supporting our mission to Accelerate the Arches receive appropriate resourcing, funding the highest value work while pausing efforts that detract from our focus.

In this role, you will play a vital role in refining, automating, and finding efficiencies in the current demand intake process. You'll organize global technology funding requests, lead project status changes, and assist managers in data gathering and archiving. Additionally, you'll coordinate and report technology resourcing needs for both in-function and cross-functional partners, ensuring that Technology empowers all functions to Accelerate the Arches.

This role is ideal for a dedicated, strategic thought partner interested in exposure to various technology teams, experience in strategic planning, process design, data governance, implementation, and possessing a strong financial savvy.

You will join the Global Technology Strategy Planning & Performance team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Demand Intake and Prioritization. Our team is dedicated to supporting Global Technology Strategy & Planning by procuring resources to deliver valuable solutions and innovations on a global scale.

The role entails regular interaction with various teams, including Global Technology Tower, Market, and Segment teams, MCX, and the Technology Finance FP&A team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the development, implementation and refinement of standardized, accurate and timely intake and prioritization reporting.
  • Find opportunities for efficiency improvements and incorporate automation into the intake process to improve partner engagement.
  • Assist in the strategic prioritization efforts for all Global Technology, encompassing a broad spectrum of focus areas ranging from short-term requirements to significant critical initiatives spanning multiple years.
  • Participate in business modeling efforts to evaluate the potential impacts of strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders from Global Technology to establish suitable monitoring systems and deliver crucial updates for strategic priorities.
  • Conduct business analysis on proposed project backlogs and funding requirements to assess their impact on the business, resource needs, and crucial metrics.
  • Verify and ensure alignment on the accuracy and comprehensiveness of intake processes with relevant technology leads.
  • Perform business analysis to support the development and execution of capacity planning initiatives and reporting.
  • Provide supplementary portfolio assistance to SP&P managers.
  • Establish and champion significant and productive relationships within the technology department and across various other functions.
  • Assist with diverse ad-hoc inquiries and special projects.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven experience and technical/functional expertise in one or several of the following areas: program management, technology, or financial analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Technology or equivalent.
  • Proven experience developing analyses, presentations, and support material to convey complex and abstract concepts, enable successful implementation of strategy or change initiatives.
  • Experience designing and or implementing processes and or tools.
  • High attention to detail and ability to consume large amounts of information across disparate artifacts/sources.
  • Sophisticated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Dedicated, meticulous individual who actively works to remove barriers to achieve results
  • Flexible, with ability to adapt to changes in priorities with ease and comfort working with ambiguity while defining the way forward.
  • Operates efficiently in a team environment
  • Advanced MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.) and experience with collaboration tools (e.g. Smartsheet, SharePoint) is preferred.
