The Supervisor, Maintenance Repair, will perform responsible supervisory duties directing the activities of subordinates and working with personnel involved in skilled trades, construction, maintenance, and/or repair activities. Plans and schedules the assignments of crews in the manner best suited to accomplish the workload with available personnel and equipment.Analyzes and resolve complaints pertaining to personnel, services, and equipment for which responsible. Instructs, monitors, and consults with superiors and subordinates on complex work tasks and ensures compliance with plans, codes, standards, regulations, and operating instructions. Requisitions necessary tools, supplies, materials, and equipment to ensure proper amounts of products are on hand for job completion. Maintains operational records, data, and prepares routing and special reports. Monitors and enforce observance of regulations within all areas of operational control. Supervises assigned personnel, conducts annual performance appraisals, and make recommendations for appropriate employment action. Demonstrates initiative in identifying potential problems or opportunities for improvement and take appropriate action. Maintains working knowledge of new developments in the industry and government regulations. Attends training required by the district to keep abreast of current technology.
