You will be a mentor who provides caregiving and companionship skills—assisting with daily life activities, while partaking in community-based outings that provide socialized interaction.
This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys engaging with others while not being constricted to a traditional work setting.

Job Description
Direct Support Staff assist with daily living skills, social activities; encourage friends and circles of support. Increase self-advocacy; assist with shopping, meal preparation, clean-up and laundry. Support Staff must demonstrate a high degree of understanding and commitment to the principles of supported living. They must understand and accept that supports will be molded to fit the participant’s needs.

- Minimum qualification is a high school diploma or GED
- Clear background check, including fingerprint scan
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- No DUIs or felonies
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Willingness to assist people with personal care needs and public transportation training
